I'm planning a new website that concentrates on Tien Len, as that's the most popular game here, and there aren't really any good alternatives online (that I know of). This forum is open for suggestions for those of you who play Tien Len a lot and want to help make a better site for it. I'm very interested in what you like or dislike, what features you would like to see, whether you would like to be able to bet play money or even real money, what the best default rules are. |

| It would be cool to have a downloadable version thats a single player with 3 other bots written into the game. That way you wouldn't neet the internet to always play. I'd like to try to mod it to work on an ipod. but a stand alone version thats downloadable would be cool | |

The defaults should be lowest 3 for first game (and for every time a new comer goes in), then winner first for each next game if no new comer is present. Only 13 cards per hand. -Suited straights can only be beaten by other suited straights. A 5-card long suited straight is able to beat a deuce. -Never possible to get all deuces in one hand because of auto win purposes. Same with 12 red cards. Skip the auto win process completely. (Same with all pairs and a single, etc.) --- Other than those suggestions, the game is good as it is, provided it doesn't go down so often. I can live with how it is, but improvements are better. :) |

Hmm, those internal server errors on posts are getting more frequent, I see. I'm working on that. Cheers for the input guys. The lowest 3 stuff is already implemented. zpn710: it's unlikely that there'll be standalone programs for home-use. After all a site like this wants to encourage website usage. :) That being said, the new Flex stuff might make it possible to automatically work as desktop application, too. However, it'll still need an Internet connection to connect to the server. Bots are also likely to disappear... |
