Whenever I try to log onto Tien Len through Flash it comes up with this error while trying to log in socket security error: [SecurityErrorEvent type="securityError" bubbles=false cancelable=false eventPhase=2 text="Error #2048"] [01:43:22] socket closed. I've tried in both Windows and Linux and the same error comes up.Any help would be great, thanks! |

Hey. I've only heard of that happening once before and there it was under windows and "ipconfig /flushdns" at the command line (or in the "Run command..." thingummy) solved it. But Linux... no idea. You could also try to clear the browser cache on both OSs. Please reply if none of that works or if something you do fixes the issue, so we can look into it and also have the solution here for other users. :) |

Hmm, ok. It clearly isn't a just an isolated case. Apparently quite a few people experience it. On the other hand... it works for most. Most weird. Could I trouble you guys for some details? Like... what OS are you running? Which browser? Which Flash player? The versions as accurately as possible. Perhaps you already run a new player or an old one. Perhaps you remember some updates on your computers lately? If we can find some things you guys have in common, then maybe I can find out how to fix it. Until then I can only apologize and hope you'll be patient and feed me some data. :) |

| This is actually a problem with the new version of Flash Player 9.0.124.0. Adobe introduced a socket policy security feature which requires the server to provide some info to the client before a connection is established. This feature was actually introduced in the 9.0.115.0 release, but it wasn't enforced until r124. To find out what version of Flash you're running, you can right-click on any Flash object and select About Flash Player. | |

Aha, aha. Yeah, I just talked about it with Akinwale and I'm fairly sure that'll be the problem for everybody experiencing it. He also mentioned how it can be fixed, so I'll do that in a few hours when I get up (must get a bit of sleep first). I'll make a news post when it is done. Cheers. |

| Fixed now by serving a socket policy file on a separate server. I got the latest version of Flash and it works for me, so I hope this'll fix it for everybody else. |
